Women in Business’ first “The Social” event on 14.4.2009 in Club Basement was a huge success. The event provided a warm atmosphere to meet like-minded businesswomen, to renew old friendships, to start new ones and to maybe switch jobs as two job vacancies were announced. The 34 participants not only enjoyed masses of good food and delicious desserts, but also special discounted drink prices. A ‘look under your chair’ lucky draw saw 5 lucky winners walking away with a voucher for 1 bottle of wine sponsored by Club Basement’s owner Wendy, who herself is an entrepreneur in Guangzhou. Women in Business hopes to see you all again and more new faces at the next WIB ‘The Social’.
