Mulled Wine
(1 bottle)

Ingredients:
1 bottle of average red wine
1/4 cup brandy
2 cinnamon quills
1/2 cup raisins
2-3 bay leaves (optional)
1/3 cup brown sugar
Zest of one orange
Small knob of ginger


Method:
Place all ingredients in a pot or sauce pan and heat gently, do not boil or simmer, 70 - 80c is enough heat and keep at this temp. for approx 2 hrs.
Optional ingredients to your own taste. Cloves, Star Anise, Cardamon pods.
