Renate has been living and working in
China since 1997.
In 2002 she came to Guangzhou.
Starting her working
career learning the profession of international trade
(import/export), Renate acquired several years of
working experience in Germany before studying Economics
and Chinese. After graduation she moved to Shanghai as
Procurement Manager.
Having chaired the German Chamber of Commerce in South
China and heading the German Round Business Table,
Renate has been actively supporting the German business
community in South China.
Out of personal interest, Renate
initiated ‘Women in Business’ in May 2008, and hopes
that many professional women will join in on future
events sharing and promoting the idea of networking and
its mutual benefits.
