the initiative of a "Women in Business" (WIB) group in Guangzhou was first voiced by the British Chamber. To push the idea of women networking and to address as many professional women, foreigners and Chinese alike, we decided to 'just do it' and to organize Women in Business events independently.

From July 2008 onwards we are actively promoting Women in Business in and around Guangzhou. We are aiming at a mix of business and social activities to allow you to learn from each other as
well as to relax and have fun and build meaningful friendships.  

Having just celebrated our one-year anniversary, we now reflect on the past year’s activities, how
this group has evolved and what we can do in the future to bring greater value of experience to our friends and supporters. 

We ask for your suggestions for speakers, topics and future venue ideas and look forward to seeing you again soon.
